Superb viewing I've been critical of TG in the past for being boring and predictable but that was 1 hour of pure brilliant television.  Totally enjoyed it and a moving tribute to Senna at the end, makes me realise how sterile F1 is now compared to 20 years ago.

Tom Cruise sets the fastest SIRPC lap, Cameron Diaz sets the second fastest (if you believe that Jezza wasn't swayed by the chance of a hug you're in dream land) and, as advertised earlier, a moving tribute to Senna

All in all, not bad for a dead show on its last legs

Excellent tribute, took me right back to that awful Sunday, watching the accident unfold and the sickening feeling that this time, there wasn't going to be a happy ending. Right on top of Rolland Ratzenburgers death, too. A bad time for the sport.

Hard to watch without a glimmer of a tear in the eye.  

I'd forgotten how much I missed seeing the likes of Senna, Prost and Mansell wheel to wheel, racing.

The Veyron was outstanding..... who/what will beat that?

Me and SWMBO were taken back by the Senna tribute. Always been No1 in my books having watched 90% of GP's since the early 80's and being at Donington in the rain to watch amazing over taking.

And the 4 wheel drift........ wow !

Amazing that cars with LESS downforce and driver aids managed to OVERTAKE and be INTERESTING!

Did you notice how Mansell featured in many of the most exciting wheel to wheel dices with Senna that the Beeb chose to screen.....?

Nice tribute to Senna, but I still think any up-coming driver should be forced to watch videos of our Nige wrestling his cars around through sheer force of will that almost permeates the screen....

The Eyties didn't call him Il Leone for nowt....

If you do a bit of reserach on Jezza you'll find that he is highly rated by his fellow journalists as a serious hack.  The article on Senna showed how talented he is behind the lanky buffoon he chooses to portray.
