Bob Green Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 As in the title. I was going to buy one but it will make me look like a 59 year old chav! Red stripes and all. Can the original black cap still be purchased? Quote

Can the original black cap still be purchased? Surely any baseball cap will make the wearer look a dick/chav.....? We don't even play girlie-rounders, err baseball in this country..... Baseball caps should be the exclusive preserve of obese Americans and retarded British teenagers from sink estates who tink dey gangsta innit...... Far-more-British-by-jove Quote
Bob Green Posted July 17, 2010 Author Posted July 17, 2010 They are handy to keep the sun from the eyes. Before someone bangs on about Oakleys, I wear correction devices. Quote
Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Bob, I agree. I got a freebie Peugeot cap from Silverstone a while back - it's plain black with the Peugeot logo only and much more subtle. The WSCC one looks like a striking fireman's cap. I don't like headgear at all normally but the sun makes a peak of some sort necessary and I don't want to use a visor like a golf-playing granny! Quote
Mark Stanton Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 You can also purchase WSCC sew on patches which can be put onto any colur and style cap you choose Quote
jerryhzx12 Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 You can also purchase WSCC sew on patches which can be put onto any colur and style cap you choose ...so long as it's not a burberry check, or worn sideways/backwards please! Quote
stewart pickles Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 The last cap sold by WSCC was navy with a beige coloured peak, and was available for years and years....... In fact there was a sale last year to get rid of them as they weren't particularly popular! The only black ones I remember seeing were the factory ones.......... As suggested you could get a sew on badge to attach to any garment of your choosing! Emma, masquerading as Stu PS love the lion hat CarpetStu Quote
Blatman Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 I find baseball caps also help with turbulence around the eyes when behind a full screen. I usually always wear a baseball cap and Oakleys (and earplugs) when piloting the Westfield, and no, I'm not a chav or a pikey Quote
Mark Stanton Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 QUOTE and no, I'm not a chav or a pikey too old to be a chav and no lucky heather to be a pikey Quote
