BigRuss Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Thread here: http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?t=65508 pointed to this: http://img378.imageshack.us/img378/8593/zafiraaec5.jpg Not sure if that helps or not Quote
nlash Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Terry, Vauxhall are renown for being overambitious with their published timing belt intervals and most dealers will advise to change them early. They have a history of letting go before there 80K mile service so the advice you have received is probably good Quote
Terry Everall Posted July 12, 2010 Author Posted July 12, 2010 Thanks guys very useful and cam belt to be changed asap Quote
Kevin Wood Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Most Vauxhall cam belt issues are down to the tensioner pullies failing, too, so make sure the complete kit is changed, not just the belt. Kevin Quote
JeffC Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 would be more concerned the belt is 5 years old than the mileage it has done , get it changed Quote
