Bananaman Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Another great race, Red Bull don't 1/2 shoot themselves in the foot, they should be leading the championship by a mile, instead they keep on getting in each others way..... Fair play to Webber and great result for the McLaren guys considering the start they had to the weekend & quali!! Quote
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Great Race, with all the "Right" things happening for once, what a drive for Kobi, 6th place, one to watch for the future. Alonso is giving Ferrari some headaches no wonder McLaren got rid of him, he doesn't drive with his head. He overtakes by cutting the corner, then doesn't give the place back, so is bound to get some kind of penalty from the stewards once they start looking at it. They can't make him give the place back as Kubica is no longer there. So give him the next option a drive though. All sounds reasonable to me How were they to know there was going to be a safety car which was going to put him at the back of the field. It all works out badly for him, what a shame Quote
Guest Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 From one Aussie to another - Good onya Mark! Hope he beats Vetel in the championship. Would stick it up Horner & Co (and make a lot of Aussies proud cause the World Cup & the crickets stuffed) Regards Greg Quote
Captain Colonial Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Well done to Webber, Hamster, Nico and Button, and a Nelson Munce "HA HA!" to Alonso, Vettel and Horner (wonder how he enjoyed that Irvine interview?). (Found out Saturday that Horner was born about 300 yards down the road from me - how distressing. Maybe that's why the tore the hospital down years ago.) I used to think Horner and Red Bull were a growing professional and exciting team that was good for the sport. Now I just root for Webber to beat that petulant jumped-up brat Vettel, who is rapidly adding his name to a litany of questionable Austrians - Arnold Schwarzenegger, Joseph Fritzel, Joerg Haider and a certain WWII dictator of Germany. OK, maybe that's a bit harsh - let's leave Arnold out of it for now. Quote
Paul Aspden Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Would love to see Webber take the championship and the number 1 to another team next year. Quote
20v toy Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 A bit unlikely as he has just signed a contract for another year at Red Bull Rageing. Yes I did spell it right! Quote
