jeff oakley Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 They have him but he is holding his gun to his head, negotiaters are trying to talk him out of topping himself. I do hope he is a YTS negotiater. We have old people who cannot afford to live and you know if this guy goes back inside he will have special treatment as he tried to top a copper. I have no sorrow if he ends it all, I do have sorrow for the young policeman with a bit of wood for protection who was shot by this nutter. Quote
DITCH Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Stop the press and TV coverage ....... send in a proper trained SAS type and have him slot one right between the eyes of the low life ....... job done and saves money all round "if" he's taken alive it will cost even more and he'll end up some glorified prison gang leader PC do gooder and tree hugger ....... in off mode Agreed. This man MUST be taken dead or dead. Oh b****y great !!!! Another Charles Bronson in the making.... He's a lunatic, that a film was made based on his life story, after the Hollywood machine decided to glorify a "Mad Man", that should have been put down at birth due to being wired up wrong.......? Again "Dudley Doo Right" working 40+ hours a week will end up picking up the bill for this Nutter !!!!!!!! Ditch.. Quote
Captain Colonial Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 More importantly, let's have a bit of sympathy and support for his victims, including the "plod" who was shot in the face while sitting in his patrol car, and the others involved too. The man is obviously disturbed, quite likely through steroids, and the police are trying to help him despite their colleague lying in hospital. That takes guts and professionalism of a high order, whatever you think about the tactics or Moat himself. Let us hope it ends tonight and all affected can return to normal lives soon. Quote

What I , and I suspect lots of others object to is the media "glorification" of this thug, and then potentially the need for us the taxpayer to support the t**t in prison....... f**k political correctness, pump the t**t full of lead using those super expensive sniper rifles.... f**k trying to understand him, f**k treating him with any kind of respect or dignity,f**k being sympathetic to him, f**k trying to rehabilitate him....... Treat him the way he treated his victims ...shoot the t**t and leave his dead rotting carcass for the birds.... Indeed have sympathy for his victims, but none for him... Quote
Mark Stanton Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 LippyDave ......I'm kinda getting the feeling from your post that you're not very impressed by the way a certain Mr Moat has led his life since his release from prison Well said Scott .................... hopefully Moat will do something that enables him to no longer be a burden on society Quote
lippydave Posted July 9, 2010 Author Posted July 9, 2010 LippyDave ......I'm kinda getting the feeling from your post that you're not very impressed by the way a certain Mr Moat has led his life since his release from prison The sad thing is Mark that this is a microcosm of British society at the moment..... A society that seemingly gives more respect and dignity to perpetrators of evil deeds than to their innocent victims.... Quote
Mark Stanton Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 too true .......... it sells tomorrows chip paper unfortunately. Tis often the case with the vociferous minority Quote
Guest Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I personally find some of the comments very distasteful - a human life is a human life! Wait until one of your own loved ones has physiological problems and see then if you want your son shot f**king dead! Quote
Mark Stanton Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 he who lives by the sword QUOTE physiological problems in this inst, its perhaps nothing that sitting in a chair would not resolve** ** and plugged in Quote

Wait until one of your own loved ones has physiological problems and see then if you want your son shot f**king dead! What? As distasteful as shooting an innocent man, or shooting a policeman in the face with a sawn off shotgun, or shooting your ex in the back with the self same gun.....? How much more distasteful can you get...... If ( God forbid) one of my children was so f*cked up as to commit crimes like these then they'd deserve to be treated with zero respect for their own life IMHO... Quote
RedditchJay Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 agree with Lippydave..... he may have been once a "normal" nice fella........ now .. he has murdered and will again...he should end it all and save tax payers money....... end of.... Quote
Barry Ashcroft Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Just took this pic off the BBC website reporting on this. Quote
Scottish Bloke Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Is that a water pistol he has there? That be a 50k volt tazer gun Quote
carpetstu Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 a human life is a human life! IMHO The person responsible for taking another humans life in cold blood and not in self defence ceases to be human or have the rights of a human the moment he / she commits the offence. Quote
