Captain Colonial Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Pot, meet kettle. What a wuckfit. The man who ordered his driver to deliberately crash to influence a race deciding who should be banned for a minor infraction. Quote

Wouldn't you just love to read the follow up story properly reported..... "Lewis Hamilton tells Fat Aging Eytie Mafioso type to f**k off and mind his own business outside of F1..." Quote

Norman Verona Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 This has probably been discussed but from what I saw if Hamilton hadn't "hesitated" as the SC was in the pit lane he wouldn't have overtaken it, he would have been in front when it reached the track. The rule need to be clear, where is the SC when it can't be overtaken, because if it's in the pit lane then it gets overtaken every lap Quote
Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 It's typical of the micro management that has prevailed over recent years. A hole appears so a patch is applied - then, before you know it, the whole thing is made of patches and it leaks everywhere. Quote
pistonbroke Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Couldn't agree more Clive Wasn't it the case not too long ago if and when the safety car was employed they had to pick up the leader who then followed them , so that the whole field lined up following in race order . Not sure why they changed the rules but it was probably like most commitee decisions a "good idea at the time " Quote
