Edited to add: it's got HID dipped headlamps too I bought this car at the end of October 2009 and intended to keep it for several years for touring Europe and stuff like that but I’m not getting much time to use it due to work pressures. The last MOT was carried out in late April 2010 and it passed with no problem and not even any advisories - I had to put a new front number plate on as the small plate supplied with the car when I bought it wouldn’t pass but it will be given to new owner for ‘show purposes’ Nick Algar roadtested this car for me as it was hundreds of miles away from home and loved it so I bought it and it truly is a lovely tight car with no rattles etc. Price £9,950 ovno - pics below Email is petergwestie@hotmail.com if you have any questions, Car is near Fleet in Hampshire. http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/petergw....1162242 http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/petergw....5256946 http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/petergw....4718514 http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/petergw....6661506 http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/petergw....5409090 http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/petergw....2591106
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 It's a shame I am not after one Pete as it was a great car when i drove it and knowing you it will only be better Nearest thing to a Westie, but practical to use.
Mark Stanton Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Wanna swap for a quick little Westfield with all the right bits fitted + loads of spares and possibly deal on a trailer

peterg Posted June 29, 2010 Author Posted June 29, 2010 D'oh, just remembered, all the engine mounts, header tank and radiator (all potential problem areas) have been renewed in the last three years too
Major Stare Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 SWMBO has seen this and wants me to sell the Westy
chris7273 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 What a nice car... For the registration in Europe, we need an European CoC (Certificate of Conformity). The Vauxhall 220 is similar to the Opel Speedster, this one is popular in the second hand market and has a CoC. Is there a CoC for the Vauxhall too ? in this case you could try to publish the ad in Holland, France, Belgium, ...
peterg Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 Thanks Chris but I already have quite a lot of interest in the car and with the current exchange rates I don't think it'll be as desirable as cars like Elises/Exiges were last year...
