I received a pair of tickets for the Festival of Speed preview on July 1st (Thursday) - dubbed 'Moving Motor Show Day'.

They came courtesy of Lotus Cars - there was an offer on their website but I really didn't expect any to come or I'd have mentioned it on here. Now I've seen Metcheck's weather forecast for the day and the wind speeds they're predicting, I'm not surprised no-one else is bothering! :p

MetCheck used to be very reliable but last time I used it the forecast winds were in excess of 2000mph. I emailed them but had no reply so I assume that things are not going well for them. A great shame...
