Good price or what

Type 9 £55

Is this a good price/worth having as mine is `graunching` a bit on changes

I thought I`d get it in case mine gave up the ghost or is it better to refurbish the original (better the devil you know etc)

for £55 buy it use it for a few years and throw it away and get another

Paid £45 for mine, tho I've not got anything to put it in yet

Should be able to get one with a bit of a warranty off a scrappy for that dough. When I bought one for £45 they gave me three months warranty and guaranteed it had been 65,000 miles (not sure how I could have told otherwise). They also admitted to having thrown eight identical boxes away the week before because nobody wanted them.  

For a few hundred more there's some straight cut boxes in the for sale bit, just right for the touring car soundtrack...
