CedricTheBrave Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 the RJ45 is more likely used for service than media streaming dlna or internet not supported on this model Quote
Fat Albert Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 My new Samsung has ethernet and a wireless dongle as standard, includes Opera browser so the interwebby is available without a pc (and yes Blatters, it uses DHCP or manual IP), streaming in 1080p is not up to Blueray standard but way better than SD All the other TVs in the house with an HDMI port are/were streamable from my house WLAN using dongles bought from Costco (£70 a pop) Quote
Guest Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 If you can't get hdmi out of your laptop you could use VGA to component and then input sound from your headphone jack to the 2 phono sockets for sound on the component in ...... or have a nice media PC thats similar in look to a dvd player under your telly for all your 1080p ..... err anyway Quote
CedricTheBrave Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 stream all my media through my PS3 into my TV via HDMI also have a win7 pc connected via the other HDMI for any other internet stuff and music. Love my PS3 Quote

I can feel an upgrade coming on. Two upgrades if there's both a 24" and a 32" model available with "IP" protocols included... Them dongles were expensive I'm going to cable my place. Gigabit ethernet ports in every room except the bog... Quote
