Driving courses

can anyone recomend a good driving course to go on (not megabucks) as i am not used to driving rwd cars and would like to be able to get the most out of my westie when i get it, as itsxmas and my birthday coming up my girlfriend might treat me to a course as a prezzie (hint hint)- would you advise waiting till i get the car or going b4 - tia
