TerryC Posted November 28, 2002 Posted November 28, 2002 Just fitted my Zetec bottom end to the MT75 box with Burton steel flywheel, OHC clutch and release bearing and standard fork. Everything seems fine, clutch disengaging when it should, all that malarky. My question is this; Why does Westfield reccommend their modified release bearing instead of the standard one, and what difference does it actually make? Does it give you a more progressive or smoother pedal? Terry. Quote
Fast Westie Posted November 28, 2002 Posted November 28, 2002 Cos with the standard Zetec flywheel/release fork etc there is a 2cm gap! BTW, what starter motor hve you got Quote
TerryC Posted November 28, 2002 Author Posted November 28, 2002 I,m maybe getting a pre-engaged x-flow starter reconditioned unless i can locate one for some small beer tokens. The recon one is gonna cost £40! I borrowed an old one to check-fit it, and everything was fine. Terry. Quote
