Friday night, stuck for something to do.

Well, Max has gone to Cub camp over the weekend, Isis is at a mates house for a sleep over tonight and Mrs 'Slide and I are on our own at home for the first time since I can remember  

As this is such a rare thing we've forgotten what we used to before the kids arrived so we looked to the World Cup for inspiration.

So, we nipped to Tesco, brought a couple of "Supporter Kits" (plastic flags ect) some "World Cup" bloater food (nacho kit, chicken wings, sour cream and wedges, sausage rolls in fact anything that has in excess of 500 cals per 100 grams and requires no cooking/skill to present because you eat it from the packet it came in) and a load of discount booze.

The plan is that we'll find some footy on TV, we both loath footy with a passion but we hope it'll get us in the mood for the the evenings entertainment later on.

This will be eating all the crap low quality high calorie food and getting rat arsed on alco pops (her) and Stella (me).

I'm then going to rough up Mrs 'Slide a bit and make unreasonable sexual demands that she won't oblige me with and that I won't have a hope in hell of actually achieving coz I won't be able to stand unaided by then, so I'll be forced to rough her up a bit more coz it's all her fault and she woz asking for it.

She'll the spend the next hour on the 'phone to her best mate moaning about how she should have never had married me but sticks with me coz I do right by the kids, while I slip into an alcohol induced coma in a pool of my own puke on the sofa.

She'll then go off next door and ******* my best mate who'll also be watching footy p****d up and bloated on "supporter grub" and who'll slap her about a bit afterwards for being such a disloyal b***h.

By that time I'll have woken up downed another 6 cans of Stella, not missed that she's gone, come back again and gone to bed where I'll join her snuggle up and be safe in the knowledge it'll all be ok in the morning.

And to think you can get all this entertainment for £15 per head in 180 minutes  

That's cracking value.
