diff for megablade

just about to build a megablade and need a bit of advice re the correct diff to use.  would like to locate a lsd but not sure which sierra model I should be looking for.  This will be my 3rd build, but have built live axle models before (because of the choice of diff ratio's available).

I live in Essex/Suffolk, so I know the whereabouts of a good Ford breaker (Wickford), just hate Fords and have no idea what model of car I should be looking for.

Any help/advice greatly received.

I'm surprised you missed this one Blatters....

Have you tried using the 'search' facility on this boardroom wilksy? Just type in LSD, and set yourself an hour or so aside for some informative reading.

You will find a wealth of information on this subject, from what sizes are available, how to identify ratio's and LSDs from the part numbers,to people that are recommended to change the ratios for you if necessary.

It seems like I am taking the easy way out, but having just tried it myself, you will see how much info there is on the subject

the 3.3 diff non lsd for standard blades

Upgrade to a lsd (im in the process of doing it so don’t as yet know the benefit first hand)

I bought a 3.6 lsd of some dodge character on here  Hi stu heheheh  just goto clean it up and fit it
