Donor Parts

I don't know if there is a definitive list of the donor parts that you/we could used when trying to build a Westfield on a tight budget, how about making on in this thread.

Anyone who can think of an alternative donor part for a Westy supplied part simply add it in a reply with the price alongside.

I know the main ones are the Cortina Front Uprights (~£75), Sierra Diffs (XR4 for LSD - £100), Polo Rad (~£40)

What about other components like steering rack and columns?

It could be a useful list for a lot of people.

I have recently been collecting all the info from the pile of build receipts and more recent bills, with the aim of creating a web site when things are all sorted out.  Its still very much under construction but as you asked try here

If anybody has part No's and details for bits for later cars, then if you PM me the details of the application, Pt No and supplier if poss.  I will create a page for other usefull numbers.

eg.  front lower ball joint ( two attachment holes ) for late models - vehicle from, part No and supplier phone no/web.
