juansolo Posted November 15, 2002 Posted November 15, 2002 Are there any off the shelf aeroscreens available for an SE? I know the Westifeld double bubble can be made to fit but it's prohibitively expensive though it is the most asthetically pleasing. Anything else out there? Quote
peterg Posted November 15, 2002 Posted November 15, 2002 The plastic/polycarb/whatever one organised by Jonathan Rarity (do a search on old threads) can be heated up and 'adjusted' to fit a narrow body or so I'm told Quote
gregh Posted November 15, 2002 Posted November 15, 2002 look here, it reads like someone is trying on of the GRP ones Another WSCC Thread on Aeroscreens Quote
damianc Posted November 15, 2002 Posted November 15, 2002 I've one of the Rarity supplied screens (c'ham JPE copy). Fitted to a narrow body using the aforementioned heat treatment. £75, and I like it lots. I fitted about new year's day, so the photo is a bit icy! Quote
Nick M Posted November 15, 2002 Posted November 15, 2002 Sadly I think the ones organised through the se7ens list are no longer going to be an option. I think it proved to be too much hassle all round by the time the orders were taken and they were all sent out. That said, if you can find a second hand c******m JPE type screen (not the carbon R500 ones as this doesn't fit a narrow bodied car) then that could probably be made to fit. Quote
