Birthday Pressie Supercar Drive

Recommended Posts

One of my lovely birthday pressies was one of those supercar experiences - we all know the type, some training and familiarisation laps, then (in this case) four laps in the supercar of your choice.    :t-up:

As this is as likely as I'll get to driving one ever again, short of hitting the lottery, and assuming I may not get another opportunity due to fate or whatever, i.e. if you could only choose one, which one would it be for you?

Can't make my mind up, and won't skew the poll with my preference list, but would love to have your thoughts.  :t-up:

Let the marque flame war commence!

Had to go for the Lambo.  My Son is getting to drive one on the same weekend as MIRA is on so I will miss it but he should have much fun at the grand old age of 12 LOL

Where was the Westfield option ?

I'm sure it would be about the quickest on the list.

Gallardo, no question...

If you get one chance in life it has to be the 997. The Lambo is an Audi and noone will remember it in 10 years and the 360 is simply not as good!

By that reckoning, Lambo's out cos it's an Audi: therefore R8 is out too. Aston Martins are Ford's, and Ferraris are Fiats. That leaves a choice of two, and of them I'd try the GTR over the 997.

But, of them all, I'd go Lambo. Please... Anyone?

Lambo for me too...

Overtook an Audi R8 V10 on a track day a few weeks ago - repeatedly.  So that rules that out, and therefore the Lambo too.

Has to be an Aston - "proper"ish British car. And I prefer the V8 - I keep asking my wife for one (Aston), but she hasn't even bought me a Dinky toy yet :(

Guy at work went on one a few weeks back near Kenilworth ....... he chose a supercharged Atom really enjoyed it but the instructor wouldn't let him really have a proper go keep revs down, spin and your finished were orders of the day  :(  :( take your Westfield and see if they'll let you loose in that as well  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

and Porsche  :D

575 Fezza.

Everyday.

I'd be even happier with a 550...

I had a go in a DB9 last year at Bruntingthorpe. That was good fun, a lot more nimble than I expected it to be. And you just can't beat a V12.

I went on Ferrari vs Evo day, ana had a go in a Ferrari 355 Spyder last year and I thought it was s**t, boring to drive, very heavy steering and felt pretty slow! I much preferred the Mitsubishi Evo.

I would chose the Nissan GTR, saw one have a bit of a tustle with a Continental R on the M27 the other evening, both came past me at what seemed like 140+. The GTR made an awesome noise!!

Lamborghini, but I'd miss the scissor doors.  The GTR would be a close second, though I see the same three cars regularly where I live. As common as Fiestas. :D
