steppenwolf Posted November 7, 2002 Posted November 7, 2002 The following picture is an example of a ducted nose:- The air passes through the aluminium radiator built into the front of the nose cone and passes through an internal duct upwards and exits through the slot shown in the top of the nose. It is very efficient and avoids warm air being passed over the engine and into the engine bay. An electric fan behind the radiator works in the same fashion as on a standard installation and as it too is in the duct, it forces air out of the slot at the top when required. It also looks good if you like that sort of thing - which I do! Quote
