Rory's Dad
Looking at the top end of the bonnet, the fibreglass is nearly flat although it dips down into the first reccess a bit. I had a look at some of these at Stoneleigh. It might need some plastic padding but I was wondering about fixing one cenrally with the pin mounted on a stainless steel bracket fixed to the scuttle. Obviously the other one of the pair would be for sale. What do you lot think?? Rory's Dad
Stryder5
the bonnet is fairly flexible and there will be considerable high pressure build up under bonnet trying to lift said bonnet, I think that you may have trouble with the bonnet flexing and maybe eventually failing and removing itself. I have just finished fitting my bonnet and used Westfield lockable catches, which although quite fidley to do is secure. As I have had a bonnet fly off in another car, I am making doubly sure and fitting short straps halfway down the side of the bonnet.

Rory's Dad
'cos it mostly lives outside Terry Because of the potruding air filter, the bonnet has 4 overcentre clips at the moment. I thought the aerocatch looked like a proper lock and just didn't fancy the faff of fitting the Westfield locks. Rory's Dad

I'll buy the white ones and paint them. (Black bonnet with yellow stripe Rory's Dad
a4gom
sure it will be fine but thats only securing the back what you going to do about the front? or does your bonnet have pegs into the nose? lockable over centre catches are available or you can put small padlocks in the place of the R clips on some over centre catches
