CharlesEH Posted November 1, 2002 Posted November 1, 2002 I'm planning my dashboard around my Digidash. The steering wheel size is important as you get a (127mm?) zone around the wheel diameter where you don't have to worry about radiuses. This applys to the area between the wheel rim and the driver's door panel too. What's the diameter of the Westfield SVA standard steering wheel? Does this allow decent leg room (I'm 6'1"). Are there any SVA passing alternatives? (and while we're at it does anyone have an unwanted one they'd be prepared to sell?) cheers, Charles Quote
moomin Posted November 1, 2002 Posted November 1, 2002 Charles, Drop me a line. I have a standard wheel (it's on the car at the moment) which I will soon be swapping. I can measure it for you later on if no one knows the sad facts off the top of their head. Probably best to go with this wheel for SVA as it is a known quantity, then swap later. How's the project coming along? Moom. Quote
CharlesEH Posted November 1, 2002 Author Posted November 1, 2002 Cheers, I'll mail you off-line. As for the project; I've had a few time-consuming family commitments recently, but the engine and gearbox is in, all the panelling except the tunnel sides is painted and attached, the fuel tank and line is in, the suspension and brakes are on and piped up. Elastictrickery next! Regards, Charles Quote
