Delboy Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 As a few of you guys already know, I have had a few problems with my new Superchaged Honda unit. I was somewhat distubed, when talking to Troy of Northampton Motorsport at Stonleigh today, that he has had a few people approach him over the weekend believing that he is somehow responsible for the failure I have suffered. I must make it clear that NMS bear no responsibilty in this matter. Their only involvement was the hire of their rolling road. Troy had no involvement in the building or the mapping of my engine. The reason for the failure is related to the combination of too high compression ratio for the amount of boost I was running. Basically I was a bit too greedy! I am currently rebuilding the engine with suitably low compression pistons and we should be out again for Mira. Del Quote
Blatman Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Yeah, that never happens... BUT, I am also guilty of putting 2 and 2 together and making five. Just not this time. For a change, I had nothing to do with it... Quote
