zvezdochka
About to install fuel tank and I noticed the cunningly positioned recesses for the top wishbone mounting bolt head. I assume I can reverse the bolt so that the nut faces the tank to make it easier to remove the wish bone without disturbing the tank, or will this put the tank at risk as the nut and exposed threads protrude further than the bolt head? Anyone had to remove a wishbone and experienced problems with the tank?
Blatman
You have it right. Trial fit it, and trim the bolt if necessary, but make sure that at least 1 thread prodrudes beyond the nyloc nut. My upper rear wishbones are fitted this way. They weren't before..............
