Asterix Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Will 2 of these... ...fit in the boot of one of these... ...without dropping the rear seats. I suspect not, but would be pleasantly surprised to hear otherwise. Am looking to lease a car that attracts cheap premiums (lease, tax, insurance, etc...), but is still stylish* and competent. Was thinking a BMW118d, but the 2 lab issue may scupper that. If not a BMW118d, what other stylish* and competent suggestions have you. Ta *Yes, I realise that's highly subjective Quote
Mark Stanton Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 You will have 2 uncomfortable labs I had a 3 series estate and they aren't that big for an estate, the 1's are even smaller Stylish and cheap premimums and yet big enough for 2 brown labs New VX Insignia Estate New Honda Accord Estate Volvo Estate Toyota Avensis Estate New Merc Estate Audi A4 or A6 Estate (Avant- S Line) Somehow I think stylish may be the compromise for big enough and practical Quote
pistonbroke Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 But the dog in the picky only looks to be about 3 inches tall x 6 inch long , shirley should fit in the glove box Quote
carpetstu Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Just got SWMBO a Hyundai i30 estate premium. Loads of extras inc iphone / ipod connector. Cheap to run and not bad looking for a small estate. We went for it as we have two huge Huskies to cram in the boot, and they fit with space to move Quote
Matta Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 We have 2 golden retrievers & I had a massive, quick, new Vectra - ideal dog/kid transport. However, I sold it and went back to a '98 P1 Volvo V70 XC with 190+ bhp, so I had a large wad of cash to put towards aquiring my Westy - dirt cheap to buy, reliable and reasonable running costs. Not much of a pose factor but unbeatable for lugging dogs/kids about (in my opinion anyway!). Cheers, Matt Quote
cliveboy8 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 And the winner of "THE MOST SMILIES IN ONE POST" goes to.............. Mark Stanton. Quote

langy Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Audi sportback would get my vote but Seat Leon will prob be cheaper Not enough room in the back of a Leon for 2 labs Quote
Mark Stanton Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 QUOTE And the winner of "THE MOST SMILIES IN ONE POST" goes to.............. I won that years ago Quote
Mark Williamson Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Claire has a 123d and you would not fit one lab in comfort Maybe Golf or A3? Mark Quote
markcoopers Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 I've a 123d, goes like the clappers. Labs would be sick and never get in it ever again.......works on many passengers as well Quote
