Sold my westy to a nice bloke from Holland, but having owned the car for over 10 years I forgot that the log book said 1700cc when it was a 2ltr

Anyway contacted DLVA no problem just send off the V5 and a picture of the car (for the colour change) and a reciept for the engine purchase should take under 20 days

Wait 3 weeks give them a call, they now want a letter from a garage confirming the engine details fax that off wait 10days ring them up the V5 is in the post HORRAY

Letter arives today stating that I have not provided enough evidence but does not explain why

Ring them up and the guy says that the engine cc is not stated on the letter from the garage

The letter states 2ltr, he says he is not an engineer and cannot understand that 2 ltr is in fact 2000cc      

Just sent another fax stating 2000cc    

Just Hope the new owner will wait
