camp sites - south wales (ish)

Hi Guys,

any recommendations for somewhere probably in the south wales area for 2-3 nights with camper & trailer ??

ideally something kid friendly, and decent facilities on site - ie in addition to play park for kids... Bar/restaurant for Mr & Mrs Gixermark would be great....

location not that important... just looking to break a journey up coming from Brands on a sunday night... and ferry back over to the emerald isle probably from holyhead.... but may go back via liverpool...........

looks like a nice spot - an on site pub and it would be ideal !!

somewhere further south would be handier... want it ideally 3-4 hours from brands so we can get there and set up in day light allowing for a stop enroute etc.....   Mrs Gixermark and more importantly the two Miss Gixermarks will not want to do long driving stints...........

in the top 5 camp sites in the UK

Not been but some of my mates go there on a regular basis, but that could be for a bit of wife swapsies

Pembrey counrty park (CC site) is brill but all the services pitches get booked up 12 months in advance
