lippydave Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Norm, In that last picture of you leaning against the wall you look like a man saying "I wish I never started this!!!" Get him a stripey hooped outfit, give hime back the pick and we could call him "Papillion"...... Quote
Norman Verona Posted April 12, 2010 Author Posted April 12, 2010 That picture of me leaning aginst the wall is simple. If I hadn't leaned I would have fallen over. And you're right, at that point I did wish I'd never started. QUOTE No Hard hat No Ear Protectors No Safety goggles What are they? I think the pick was easier but would have taken weeks. I've got 3 days to remove the rubble before I start all over again. Quote
7sRWild Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Easy Norm, too much of handling that big tool will leave you all shaky, soon you will have to drink yer beer thru a straw. Quote
Norman Verona Posted April 12, 2010 Author Posted April 12, 2010 No problem with the beer. I can manage my Guiness out of my pint glass. There are some things that MUST stay imperial. So a days rest had us moving a huge slab of slate and two water troughs. I've had to leave them laying on the floor as they're too heavy for me to lift on my own. If I can't find a volunteer I'll have to get the engine crane out. We also moved the compressor to the garage so I can drain down the diesel and refill with fresh. The stuff in the tank is 4 years old and it won't start. Assuming I get it started the sandblasting will be next - after I remove the unwanted floor joists and props. I'll take some pictures tomorrow. Quote
