Guest Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 i looked at those carbon mirrors but arent they flat glass so as i wanted convex i went for the spa .as for the carbon film i could afford real carbon ones but didnt think they were worth it .the point is i suppose that it tidies things up that you usually cant get in carbon easily .as i have a carbon aero and its not a good a finish as i would have liked the real mcoy is not always the best for decent carbon mirrors get the SpA GT mirrors with convex glass , there a decent size to see with and obviously have decent convex glass . In my view the wrap is ok for bits you can't get in carbon , but if doing a lightweight car properly then you want the real thing . using film which ever way you try and convince yourself IS the chav alternative . And yes i have some i used to cover a scratched laptop with ,as it was actually the best thing for that purpose. Quote
