Phssthpok Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 ......I've been thinking about starting an Ebay Bullsh*t thread devoted to those exaggerate the description or worth of their goods. For a starter, I'll offer you THIS dilapidated Puch M50 Sport which the seller assures us he's "SEEN THESE FETCH OVER A THOUSAND POUNDS". The only way this bike would fetch a £1000 would be if Kylie was sitting on the saddle bollock naked, covered in vanilla Häagen-Dazs, offering to do it doggy-style while singing "I should be so lucky." jerryhzx12 Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Like everything, it's worth what someone will pay for it...or not as the case will probably be here ! Quote
dombanks Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 when looking for a oil catch tank i found this amusing, "It filters the oil that enters the engine thus improving performance and life of your engine." the listing is old so the link may stop working link Quote
cliveboy8 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 This would make a nice little restoration project but not even at £450 starting price. As long as the frame is not like a tea bag and the chrome bits can be re-chromed and you can source any other bits needed you may be able to get a bag of sand for it when it is fully restored to original. Maybe thats why my mate restored and sold his 750 kettle for over 10k ,and the Fs1E for nearly 3k there is no reason why these older rarer 2 stroke bikes won't fetch good money Ok the Puch is no FS1E ,but then its not gonna make 3k but it might make a grand to the right person .
