wizzer Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 Well 300 views not even one, good car, bad car, good price, s**t price, more pics, less pics
RoadRunner999 Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Wot no Duratec??? You know I'm only joking there Wizzer. Seriously, best of luck with the sale
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Why only a 6500rpm rev limit? Surely its good for another 1000 rpm? I reckon there's more power in there somewhere
RedditchJay Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 ok... feedback Pictures - need more pictures, interior, engine bay, red is a fab colour so needs to be glossy and showing off Video Link - good idea and works well, why set the rev limit so low, my engine same spec {almost} except I am on standard 2.0ltr cams with 175bhp but revs to 7600rpm Price - IMHO too expensive for a 1992 chasis unless the engine was a 200bhp special Engine - Good spec on paper but I would have expected more bhp ? Just my feedback.... dont take it as gospel but if i was looking for a new Westfield the advert would need to tick a few more boxes.
wizzer Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 Why only a 6500rpm rev limit? Surely its good for another 1000 rpm? I reckon there's more power in there somewhere Cheers John Rev limit was set to 6500 when he was setting it up its now set to 7k it made 156 bhp @6500 and was still rising Tony
wizzer Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 Cheers Jay It may be a 92 but almost all the major components are as new , the engine could be touching 200 bhp, I know you never get your money back I've just put 2k into it in the last months Tony
RedditchJay Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 its a fab car and looks very very good.... boost the add with some photo's and I am sure you will have more than 156bhp and of course every dyno is different...........
wizzer Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 Tis a shame it used to have clamshells on it. Could be solved with some nice mick made carbon sides
Bananaman Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Better shots of the engine bay and more info on the gearbox ratios? Might be worth a rolling road session with print out to show what the engine is all about!
Bean Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Cheers Jay It may be a 92 but almost all the major components are as new , the engine could be touching 200 bhp, I know you never get your money back I've just put 2k into it in the last months Tony It's an older model but it's obviously had a lot of money spent on it, in all right places too. I don't understand why some people assume the standard body chassis won't command as much ££££ It's smaller, therefore lighter and faster I think it's a cracking spec, it looks like new in the pics I'd hold out with the asking price, spring has arrived and the buyers should soon to. Good luck.
