Just a bit of spectator advice please.

I understand there is no admission fee for Castle Combe but would I be able to wander around the paddock during practice / during the timed runs or is that a no, no. Never been before and with a 4 and 6yr old in tow need to understand how I can keep them happy!!

Reading all of the posts and seeing the entry list I am getting excited and Im not even racing, weather forecast looks good as well!!

With practise finishing at 12.30 when do the timed runs start?

Thanks

AFAIK you should be able to wander freely around the circuit and paddock which I think is right next to the spectators carpark.  Just be careful with the kids when around the paddock as there is likely to be alot of constant vehicle movements so keep them close.

Timed runs should follow on from the practice runs which I'm guessing will be sometime around lunchtime.

I'm new to this too :p so not 100% sure myself!

Castle Combe is not far from me but I doubt I'll have time to get there this weekend. Saturday will be spent fitting my tow bar and taking the Mrs and daughter out.

Hopefully some nice chaps will post photos online to show me what I missed.

You will have free access to all the spectator and paddock areas.  :)

Don't spend too long in the paddock. Leave yourself plenty of time to get to Quarry to watch the last of the late breakers coming over Avon Rise all out of shape. Besides, you never know who you may run it to at the excellent burger bar out that way ;)
