Lurksalot Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 I guess you have found your lorry then Dom One eye on the horse and one eye how far you can back up it .....sorry ...back it up edited to say ......sorry I know ffuckalll about cameras Quote
dombanks Posted February 13, 2010 Author Posted February 13, 2010 seems like for a car and 12V about 80 notes, double the batteries up and double the price tag! swmbo saw one today she likes and it was a good price in good condition. the engine bay under the cab was shinyer than my westy! it means we can lose te 4x4 and the trailer. im just trying to figure out how to fit the car in as its only 9ft4 in the load area. i had a drive in a very similar one today and found it really easy to manouver and reverse on the mirrors but a rear view camera would be good and as there is no cutthrough cctv to see the nags would also be useful Quote
Dave Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 I've got one on my motorhome clips on the mirror and can take up to 3 cameras, I have 2, 1 pointing down and one that looks over the trailer Brilliant cost about 200 by the rime you buy the cables and night vision cameras, but well worth it as 1 bump will cost a fortune Dave Quote
dombanks Posted February 14, 2010 Author Posted February 14, 2010 my thoughts exactly dave i found the vision from the drivers side very good as it has massive mirrors, manouvering it was easy but that was on an empty trading estate, horse shows can be very busy so any vision behind would be good. where did you get it from and is it 24V?
