basford Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Hi, all. Back again. Put about half litre of oil in my crossflow which has minor oil leak, and now reads max on drip stick.. I was out of spin and got a nice plum of blue smoke from exhurst when pulling between 6.5-7k revs. Never happen before putting oil in... have I over filled or should I be worried. Engine seems to run fine otherwise.... Just this nice plum of smoke if I push it to much. oh, 1300 crossflow, high pressure piston Compression appox 10.5.1 Ford GT Cam Shaft(Sport XR2) High Pressure Oil Pump Minisport 1600GT Stage 2 Head Thanks for the help Quote
Martin Keene Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Probably has been over filled slightly. I wouldn't worry about it too much, X/Flow's are very good a finding the oil level that they are happy with. Quote
