juansolo Posted December 5, 2010 Author Posted December 5, 2010 To be honest , you have a lovely bit of kit there , but trackdays might get a bit frustrating for you, as I reckon you would have most of the traffic getting in your way. You would likely be the fastest at most days You've just got to choose the days and the TDO wisely. Go for the bigger tracks and TDOs that keep the numbers low, and slap numpties hard. On the Spa page I posted a couple of vids, one in traffic and one not as a comparison. Where the traffic vid is a little frustrating, providing you don't bully them and generally operate a level of courtesy, you generally find you get it back in terms of people let you by pretty quickly (apart from Porsches... ). Most of them realise you can be past them in a shot so just jink over and you can be on your way. The plus side is that you get clear laps like the other vid. That make putting up with the other bits worthwhile. We simply cannot afford the alternative which is racing. Neither of us could afford to buy or run it on our own as it stands. Plus, I'm utterly non-competitive. I just love driving sweet cars on cool tracks. Works for us, but I will admit, you couldn't really go much further than this and mix with road cars. Where we go after this will be interesting. As going faster isn't an option. Maybe historics, that'd be cool. Quote
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 really good stuff - glad you are enjoying it is there anything that has "had you" yet on a trackday? - radical etc? You keep knocking your driving but you look smooth and quick to me - you seemed to be giving it more beens when you had a passenger though - showing off were we Quote

Much better driver than me. Which helps me learn. Still astounds me the things he can do with an Evo4 rally car. As for me, I could brake later and be braver in some of the corners and still be well within it's limits. It's just building the confidence to do it. LOL, I'm sure I've let stuff by many times in it, nothing I'm bothered about. I'll try and get out on track at the same times as Radicals though, as it's occasionally nice to run with things of a similar pace. Quote
