I'm looking at buying well putting it on my credit card!

one of the following Compact camera's either the

zoom-and-3-product_26550.html" target="_blank">Canon SX200 IS

or

Lumix TZ7

I'm leaning towards the Lumiz as I've seen the quality of the photo's and the video on Scooby's

Just wondered if any of you peeps out there have either .

I know battery life is a bit of a down side with both models just wanna know what they are like to live with every day & in particular the canon

Thanks again for your help.

TZ7 mate all day long I'm just about to order one as an upgrade to my TZ5.

I've got the TZ6 and got some cracking pics on that - see facebook lol!!   :p

If I could be bothered to read the instructions I'd probably be able to get much better shots, but the IA mode suits me fine!  :D  :D  :durr:

Hi Buzz

Both really good cameras only real differences are that the Canon has more modes that let you take control of exposures( if thats important to you) , the T27  is full auto. And the Canon has a slightly longer zoom.

Hi Steve yeah not bothered to much on the extra mode tbh its mainly just to complement my nikon D700 and much easier to use for snaps and video

Know what you mean Buzz, we are off to Mexico in Jan, thinking of getting a Canon G11, easier to lug around and not so much a target for the tea leafs out there. The Tz7 has a decent video mode from what I hear..
