I now have for sale my Westfield SEiW 1800 Zetec.  Built to a rolling chassis by W/F using all new parts including suspension, fuel and brake lines, wiring loom, new engine and gearbox.  It was SVA’d and registered ‘new’ in June 2005 on a 05 plate and has genuinely covered 2150 miles.  MOT & SORN history – current MOT till June 2010 (all past first time), currently SORN’d  as of 1st November 09.  It comes with a folder full of Westfield receipts, SVA documentation, W/F parts inventory including the original purchase receipts from Westfield and comes with the original build manual.

Always garaged, never tracked; dry weather use only.

Exterior

• ZK bodywork in black with detachable arches.

• Brand new this year - 6” Re-Packable Exhaust by Advanced Automotive Systems of Newcastle (as shown in photo)

• Spare 5 1/2 inch W/F silencer with Cat + fittings.

• Polished aluminum exhaust cover for 5 ½ inch silencer

• Apollo 780 Thatcham Cat 2 immobilizer

The Westy is going even further north this time as far as Glasgow.

b****y hell Ian didnt realise you were selling  :(  who ever buys your car will be one happy bunny, that ha to be without doubt one of the mintest westys I think ive ever seen  :cool:

Thanks Jeff.  Aye,  put a lot of work (particularly polishing) into that one - could have spent a lot more spons on it getting the engine up on HP but would i have got my money back - i don't know.

A number of reason for selling, one of them being the threat of redundancy.  Never mind i managed to keep my job at the 11th hour but i may have to work away -possibly overseas.  The one job i am hoping to get is building another  road bridge over the Wear for the Mackems.

As for future pursuits - could possibly take up karting!!

I'm sure i'm in the right crowd to seek advise on this.

Lets hope 2010 is a good'un - owt must be better than 2009.

One or two applications of Autoglym Super resin polish at the start of the season and regular Autoglym ultra sheen finishing stuff thereafter.  Buffed with a microcloth to get rid of the slight white residues that are magnified when you've got a black car.
