I just tied the spare in a knot.

Eh....??

Don't you find the tyre gets in the way when you are driving....... ;)  ;)

Still, I bet the the strap doesn't move....

Other than tucking them behind the strap (and they come back out), any suggestions as to how to control them..?

If the flaps keep coming out during heavy use  ;) then what you are using isn't tight enough  :p  :D

(that's supposed to be serious in a double-entendre way, as opposed to the other way around).

what about an elaggy band. slip it over the end of the belt (from the eye end) and tuck the strap in after adjustment. elastic bands readily available for free! (other colours available too. try cuting an old mtb innertube into narrow sections. far more discrete than bulldog clips and less likely to damage the belt.

or....hairclips, money clips, tie clips...the list goes on.

i still havent done it myself 'cos i love the rush i get from blatting and bondage all in one......now theres a gap in the sex industry if ever i saw one!! :)

Method 1) Get yourself down the gym on a regular basis for a few years, develop a 50" chest and shoulders to match - that way the ends are so short they won't reach your face.

Method 2) Get yourself down the pub on a regular basis for a few years, develop a 50" belly with chest and shoulders to match - that way the ends are so short they won't reach your face.

:p  :p  :p  :D  :D

Fit a press stud through the webbing. I have elastic bands around my straps and tuck the ends in. I would have thought that velcro loops would have worked as well though.

Fit a bit of velcro to the flappy bit, and a nice long run of it down the main strap, that way itll fit anyone and wont look messy :)

Have done that but I find that the velcro is tougher than the glue and it still keeps peeling off

I have 3" wide shoulder straps and had same problem.

Found some Jumbo Paper Clips (about 2.5" long) at work - they did the trick very neatly and are virtually invisible - just make sure that they are a plated type so that they don't rust and mark your webbing.

Thanks for all the suggestions   :p

I have gone down the velcro route at the moment, and it seems to be working - mind you, I'm not caning it at present as I'm still waiting for my r.road session to check the mapping etc.

At least i've got plenty of ideas to try if I start getting slapped again :0  :0 .....wonder if it would work on the other half's arms..... ;)
