Stuart Posted July 11, 2002 Posted July 11, 2002 Assuming that your car is still on build stands, I seem to recall that I used a jack and a piece of wood on top of a pile of blocks to push the GRP on the back underside up to the box section on the chassis (I also recall that I had to take it back off again because I hadn't levelled up the overhang side-to-side, but we won't mention that) Quote
JonnyBoy Posted July 11, 2002 Posted July 11, 2002 When u get round to riveting the lower edges of the body, take some care and make sure the bodywork angles are the same both sides! ive seen some cars that are a bit lop sided | \ if u know what i mean. mine is a bit off due to stressing the exhaust side body away from the 4-1 collector mount flanges. just something to think about if u are worried about getting the body right...just wait till u have to start cutting into the stuff. thats when the anxiety sets in and your heart is in your mouth! one slip with an overkeen file and you'll be puking Quote
