Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 dont bother m8 - they rely of wire with flux and its b****y expensive - also the quality of weld will be crap compared to gas the only real use as far as I have seen is welding outside in winds where gas can get blown away Quote

wacomuk Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 i had one for a few years. i never had a problem with the quality of the welding. The flux core wire is expensive compared to mig wire but then again you dont have to buy gas. Aldi sell the wire every now and then £5 per 100mm spool the only problem while welding is there is a lot of splatter Quote
