shadowracing Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 ZETEC TYPE 9 CLUTCH KIT.based on pre 96 ENGINE USE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS;- 1600/1800 flywheel ford pt no 1034879 (zetec pre96) new fly wheel bolts ford pt no 6952658 (six req) Crank spigot bearing ford pt no 1596468 pre-drilled hole*** 23 spline driven plate ford pt no 93 BG-7550-AA Clutch Cover ass ford pt no 93 BG-7563-AA Clutch release bearing Quinton Hazel pt no CCT133, NOT' CCT 132 that comes with donor gearbox as too shallow. Standard type nine clutch arm from donor gearbox. Cutch cable (STD Westfield pedal box)Qinton Hazel QCC1057 STARTER MOTOR lucas LRS 707 1800 SIERRA. Gearbox MUST BE PINTO SIERRA as short 23 spline input shaft DO NOT use granada pinto,18CVH or XR4 box as long input! USE PINTO iron bellhousing only .Avoid donors as above. FIT spigot bearing into pre-drilled hole in crank carefully. Use short OIL Filter CROSSLAND 659 . Do not use two litre flywheel as to big and heavy. FIT matching 1800 flywheel ignition pick up sensor to engine before fitting flywheel onto engine IMPORTANT. USE 1800 sump ,pick-up pipe and baffle as shallow and needs only light mod for starter fitting , road use only. all parts available from FORD or WESTFIELD SPORTS CARS REGARDS. SHADOW RACING ........
