Westfieldman Posted June 12, 2002 Posted June 12, 2002 All depends on the diff and Gearbox ratios and the long sweeping corner short shifting etc. some times you just need to hold on to the gear for an other second before the braking point rarther than change up and then down again. So the extra little bit can be usefull. Paul. Quote
7 Heaven Posted June 12, 2002 Posted June 12, 2002 I'd agree Paul with the odd time having a higher rev-limit can help. I was mainly making reference to fast cross country driving where holding for that extra second isn't going to make the difference between a podium place or not. JOhn Quote
Westfieldman Posted June 12, 2002 Posted June 12, 2002 With my limited experience an example is between the hairpin and barn ar Cadwell just not the time to go up a gear with my current set up that includes the driver. Paul. Quote
