VFR 750 engine stripdown

Hi,

This is a longshot I know, but any bikers on here who might have done a stripdown on a VFR 750 engine ?

Basically i'm stuck. I've removed the Carbs, Cyl Heads, Water Pump, Sump, and every bolt I can find on the upper and lower crankcases. I need to get the pistons and rods out.

I have not removed the clutch, or alternator/generator.

I can't for the life of me get the 2 crankcases apart, and therefore can't get the pistons out, and to be honest it's starting P me off. There can't be any bolts left holding it together !!

Am I missing something really stupid ?  :durr:

Cheers guys, AJ.
