Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 some good fun driving in there think an aero would have helped on the straights a bit plus with all that going on a sequential gbox would have been a benefit too good find enjoyed watching Quote
Tom Frankland (T3OMF) Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 How many times did he take off...... good car control Quote
Bananaman Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Thought the porka was quick, just noticed it's a 997 GT2, that would explain it! R500 was still a match for it at 1/4 of the price! Quote
Johnson Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Yeah I saw this earlier on another site. That Pork was damn quick. The Caterham driver was seriously commited in some of those bends,we all sat here at work watching it going ooh and aah. I am surprised though the car had a full screen and no sequential box. Cracking video Quote
blitz Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 It seemed to me that thro the twisties, the porker may have been holding up the 'van, but on the straights it's better aero just let it blow past, is that fair? Quote

Nic Ayre Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Is it me or does the Caterham look like it could go a bit quicker in several places. Was way too sideways in some places. The in-car from the Porker does show how hard that was being driven, so the Caterham must have been going fairly quick. Shame we don't have any telemetry to show the speeds. Quote

Shame we don't have any telemetry to show the speeds. revs were right up in 6th gear and they will pull 155mph so I reckon they were peddling on a bit that looked to handle how mine feels on the same cr500 tyres Quote
