Bob Green Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 I have just been trawling the Internet and looked up some names that I have dealt with in the past and typed in Ferriday Engineering. I was saddened to note that this company is not carrying out any engine work due to CNC commitments. My point is that fellow members will not be able to experience the gifted expertise of Mike Tanski regarding engine modifications. Some years ago I paid a visit to Mike with a view to modify the Cylinder Head for my then Pinto engined car. Instead of telling me he could create 1,000 BHP, Mike asked me what I was looking for. I explained and following the Head work, got exactly what I wanted. Mike is a very genuine man, no sales s**t, just full on honesty. I’m sure that anybody who has used his company would have been blown away with the results. I was. I sincerely believe Mike is one of the “old school”, perhaps that is what is needed these days. A sad loss for fellow members. Quote
Jenko Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Mike's a top bloke...I bought my 2ltr bottom end from him for my CVH, and have always kept in touch. He had a nasty knee injury a few years back, and has sibcw concentrated on the less physical side of engine work.... Quote
pistonbroke Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 No doubt Mike still keeps his organ on full song Quote
