Kevin Jones Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Due to a change in car I have a couple of Nitron shocks for sale. These are setup for BECs but likely can be re-valved by Nitron for something heavier if needed. These are approx 6mths old and have only seen use on sprints so very good condition. The springs are 275lbs/inch. From the factory these would be ~£520 without springs, looking for £400 ono. Kev kjouk@yahoo.co.uk
Kevin Jones Posted September 20, 2009 Author Posted September 20, 2009 See my typing is not getting any better after >20yrs of practice
Tigger Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Hi Kevin, Are they for front or back i.e. 13" or 14" Tiggs
Kevin Jones Posted September 20, 2009 Author Posted September 20, 2009 Good question, they are for the fronts. 11.5" open, 9" closed, 2.25" springs.
Tigger Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Oh well, not long enough for me but at least we know the sizes now Good luck with the sale Kev Tiggs
Kevin Jones Posted September 24, 2009 Author Posted September 24, 2009 Any interest? I know they are pricey in current climate and all that but too nice/good to give away. I will give these a few more days but if no interest I guess I get to keep them without feeling guilty
Ragged Racing Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Hi Do you know if they would fit a standard track SE ? My car is not with me at the moment so can't measure ! Thanks Chris
Kevin Jones Posted September 24, 2009 Author Posted September 24, 2009 Unfortunately it's hard to say for sure without measuring. From some searching I think these would possibly be short of length as 12.5" appears to be talked about a lot for narrow & Tiggs thought he needed 13".
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I believe that they can be lengthened to whatever you want by removing the top eyelet from the piston rod and replacing it with a longer eyelet (if it is screwed on)
