Snell 2000 Helmet Standard

Good news, I have just had confirmation directly from the MSA that Helmets approved to Snell 2000 will be allowed for use in the 2010 season.      

So no need to rush and buy a new one, unless you feel like spending some money or your old one is damaged

we did kinda know that before ,as my talks with scrutes had intimated that to be the case ..... all to do with delayed release of the Snell SA2010 standard which won't be available to purchase till october 2010.

If some of the scrutes knew half of what they thought they knew, we'd never have any trouble. I trust Nick and the MSA response over anything a scrute might tell me in the paddock 'cos some of them seem to make it up as they go along. Probably not in this case to be fair, but I've heard way too much crap spouted as fact coming from scrutes over the years...

Blaters have a read of the snell site and their schedule for releasing the standard ..... thats the main clincher on this being right

I assume this amendment will be in the 2010 Blue book so that we can point it out to any scrutineers if the question is raised......?
