Nick Algar - Competition Secretary
I had the third degree about where my rear struts were for the roll over bar and yet Del was never asked! Its the way they do it that is not good. Much like being arrested by the police maybe? Nobody asked about CATs! Was this the influence of a certain bearded person ? mark.anson
Mark just watched your run at Ty Croes, Oh to have a car that handles! Looks like you just got the grass on the downhill entry to the back straight, or am I mistaken. Loveley lines though, and you were significantly faster than I could manage. Well done to the organisers too, it was a great weekend which could only be improved by more tolerant scrutineering. Thanks Paul, It was good to see you out again, and Micks car looks great; just a shame I did have chance to have a chat. Seemed to spend all of mytime between runs cleaning tyres. I does look like I caught the grass on the downhill section, but actually I was the offside brake snatching slightly, which very nearly spat me of onto the grass. I was lucky with the scrutes for once. The bloke I got check my overall and helmet, walked around the car once and gave me a sticker.
