Anyone a TV repair engineer?

Got a 32" Philips Ambilite TV with an intermitant fault.

Want to get rid but too good to put in a council skip!

my brother is a really good engineer with the pc world / currys / dixons group - whats the matter with it?

if you send me the model number - year and details ill see if he knows off the top of his head - yes he can do that.. amazes me sometimes..

but be aware - most tv's go in the skip nowadays - even that big group is going to change soon.. think he said they are stopping home repairs soon

There aint no such thing as a TV engineer these days there just chassis bashers.
