Rear wind deflector

Hi

I have just bought my first westfield after selling my beach buggy so I am very new to the car. Love the driving experience of the car but do not like having the doors on. Just fitted clear wind deflectors on the windscreen and this is much better than having nothing. But it is still not good and 60 plus especially if er indoors is with you and she has long hair. Has anyone fitted a wind deflector to the roll bar and does it work.

If there is anyone do you have a location where I can get one.

Best regards

Soft Bits for Sevens do one for Caterhams but I've no experience of using them or if they actually work :)

have considerd this myself and would be interested in any results -  I find my wind deflectors to very good ( I haven't a lot of hair) and can still see and breath at 100

My first Westie had one and I took it off.....very little difference, aeroscreen in my opinion is a much better option.

Yeah, I made one out of perspex to fit in the roll bar.

Drove car with it on and off and made no difference.

Best way to avoid your hair being blown to pieces is wear a helmet.

I had one made out of mesh by (I think their name is) M & M Accessories (they have stand at most of the kit car shows) and it does work a bit.  Better still SWMBO has been convinced that it works so I get her in the car a bit more often now.  Just had to send them a wallpaper template and diameter of roll bar and they did a good job.
