Guest Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Hi All, As per the title - I have a pdf document that I need to edit and print. Can anyone suggest a (preferrably free of course ) pdf editor package that will allow me to alter the layout of a pdf.............. Many thanks Paul. Quote
Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 you cant edit a pdf mate all you can do is print it off , manually edit it, then scan it and creat a pdf again ! Quote
peterg Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Paul, there are utilities available to convert a .pdf file to a Word .doc file and then you can edit that... like this QUOTE you cant edit a pdf mate er, yes you can, but you need the full version of Adobe Acrobat... how do you think they're created in the first place Quote
Buzz Billsberry Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Thanks for that Pete it does the job nicely Buzz Quote
Pew Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 If you have probs I can convert to word. Or you can cut and paste if th PDF allows into word the. Save as within word asa PDF. Quote
SwissWesty Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Yes you can... obviously not exactly like using the Adobe Acrobat. Here is some freeware to try out: OpenOffice extension - needs an installed "OpenOffice" (freeware), whats not the whorst thing to do. exPertPDF 4 - its in german language though. Im using version 5 (not freeware alas) and its works OK. Free PDF Editor - i dont know this one, maybe its worth to take a look anyhow. Quote
