SkodaMart Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 1990 Westfield SEiW. I have stiffened up the dampers as far as my spine will tolerate! . The best way I can describe the handling of my car is 'safe' , which is no bad thing. The rear wheels toe in like an old mini with positive camber, this means that the rear of the car always follows the front it also means high speed 90mph+ stability is scary (you only have to think, not steer to go round corners at speed) Finally if I throw the car into a corner I can feel the rear wheels/tyres folding under. Who can you recommend to set up my car in the Manchester area? I am not sure what the factory settings for a Westfield are, but I think I will start with all four wheels pointing in the same direction!! Quote
homesteady Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I had my pre sva set up done by ABP at Shavington just south of Crewe. The owner races most weekends and they seem to know what they are about and are reasonably priced. They are very good at suspension setting. Give John , Keiron or Dave a call on 01270 567177 and have a chat. Quote
